The Mind - 2nd Floor

"I sometimes wonder...
What would happen if he didn't...
If... he didn't..."
I paused a moment to recollect my thoughts.
"Well.. if you did not...
You know what I mean."

The person in the shadows nodded to me.

I took a cigarette and lit it.

"Why do you always stay inside?
Come out of that cave,
the world looks great during sunset."

Smoke slowly moved into the dark sky.
Another tear fell down on the ground.

"I can't take this anymore!
You're the only one who still cares about me...
And I'm not even sure about that anymore."

I picked up a small rock from the ground.
And I threw it over the edge, it fell down.

"Little rock has fallen down,
will he be missed?
I don't see anybody trying to rescue him.
In that case, I'll go to find him."

I extinguished my cigarette.
I jumped over the edge.

The person in the shadows slowly moved out of the cave and looked over the edge. I was falling. The person slowly started to cry and hesitated for a moment, but decided to go back into the cave again. Crying.

Is this even poetry?
I think so... even though it's some sort of story...
(Will depend on the exact definition of poetry and your point of view...)

Anyway, sort of part 2 in that mind thingy I started some time ago.

I hope you enjoy/like ^^ (something like that)
