Mock Screenshot: MOTHER 3 Shadow Grunt Fight

I've been playing MOTHER 3 using the fan translation patch for the past couple of days, and I have to say that I am enjoying it quite a bit so far (I'm just starting off Chapter 5 right now). In fact, I loved it so much that I just had to make a tribute fan art for it.

As far as making this went; the hardest part out of it all was the text. I wanted this Mock Screen to look like it came straight from the (fan patched) game, but no one had ripped the text from the game yet so I had to do it myself. Not only that, but I had to take a screen of a battle in order to position everything correctly & make sure it was all in proportion with each other. Needless to say that this was a pain.

This also gives me a chance to show off the basic enemies of my series. The description for the enemy in this one is down below

BG Story: Matt & the others are fighting against several different Shadow Demons that have invaded the world of MOTHER in order to prevent them from interfering with the realm's timeline.

Enemy Bio: Shadow Grunts (also more commonly reffered to as just "Grunts") are the most basic of the Shadow Demon hordes, and they come in a variety of sizes, shapes & elements. Its simple & frail appearance belies its true destructive nature.

The version you see above is just a run-of-the-mill Grunt with no special attributes or weapons. They attack by either slashing with their sharp claws or tackling their opponents. Despite it's basic and weak attacks, the only way to destroy one grunt is by using a Purified Energy skill, or backing your basic attacks with said energy source. Any other attacks against it are useless.

On a side note: Grunts usually speak in Engrish, so it's hard to follow what they are saying. They can also be very hyperactive at times.
