Okay, this is kinda horrible but I'm posting it anyway. A crappy demo of the instrumental parts in my new song Vera. I know it sounds like shit, and I don't care. Honestly I don't even know why I'm posting it, but I am. Again, I recorded the guitars with my crappy headset mic, which is why they sound like that. Recording drums was way more trouble than it should have been, so I used boring drum loops, except they're messed up so the drums cut out for half a second practically every measure, and it's off-beat on some spots.

I don't want criticisms, because I know it's shit. I'm hopefully going to record some stuff at my friend's house, where his brother has actual recording equipment, but I wanted to record it on my own so I didn't forget it or anything. Heed the big W.I.P. in the title. I didn't spend much time trying to be a perfectionist because no matter what I do, in the end it's still recorded on a crappy headset mic, and it's gonna sound bad.

I do that too. I'll record something just so I can come back to it, if I forget it. I have a crappy mic too, so don't feel bad. We're starving artists, so to speak. All the same, I'm digging it. Looking forward to hearing it on the recording equipment.

Hmm...This feels like...four different songs stuck together in a row, instead of one. I'm really, really, really diggin' the first three minutes, though. That's got this, like...early 90s grunge rock vibe going on. Those melancholy, introspective, ironically-tinged, cryptically poetic songs that make you feel nostalgic the first time you hear them, but you don't know what you feel nostalgic about. Man...I need to go dig out an old flannel shirt, now.
