More of my Solaris characters. I am trying to come up with a sport that they would play. The first thing that came to mind was basing it off of "ullamaliztli". An Aztec game that was shown in the movie "The Road to El Derado". It was like a basketball/football/hacky-sack game all rolled into one. Anyways, look it up because I'm just gonna continue with my characters...
So anyways, this is the star players of the team. Antoinette, the cremello (who is aparently spacing out O_o oops), who is their Speed. She's the one that makes sure the ball NEVER touches the ground. So if the ball is hit really hard and it goes really far out, she bolts right there to keep it in the game because for each foul, 3 points are taken out. Domino, the paint, is the Team Captain. She gets right in there and gets beaten, bruised, and absolutely filthy... and loves every minute of it. That's why there's two stripes over the big one on her sash. And finally there's Jupiter. She's the Muscle. There are four Muscle players in the game. This is where the game turnes into a roller-derby/football game for it's up to the Muscle to make sure that the Speed doesn't get to the ball and to make sure the ball goes into their team's favor.
So far that's all I got... but this is Part 1 of the drawing. Next will be shading or highlighting, the third will be whatever I didn't do to the second, and if there's a fourth then that's just a colored background. Then I was tempted to draw a BG scene of the court and plaster those three on to it... but I dunno yet. We'll see how that drawing goes.
Over all... I'm actually REALLY impressed with myself. Very few mistakes coming out of this one compared to my usual amount and i drew more than ONE character! D: Hell must have frozen over or something...
