A lot of his humour involved bursting through into rooms, or smashing things (like his keyboard for the Blobby Song) while screaming that echoing "Blobby, Blobby, BLOBBY!".. When we look back, it's like a bloody horror film.
Next time you see a film with someone alone in a dark room or corridor, almost silent, imagine that echoing cry.
