As promised in the first page, I'll be going on now about why I created Star of Destiny. The next page will carry more information about the story itself.
Star of Destiny is my attempt at a Tolkien; my attempt to create my own world, a world with its own story where I can just... write what I want. Middle Earth and Lord of the Rings is what Tolkien created; Apollos and Star of Destiny is what I'm creating.
As for why I'm making it, this is in two parts. The first I sort of gave away already: So I could write something that others could not touch, that they could not effect. When I did roleplaying, others could always intervene and mess up the "story" I was working. In the last few months of RPing, I would create stories with friends where we would work together on them and ensure the story went in the direction we wanted. We would design them such that others couldn't just make things up so easily.
The other reason, meanwhile, was because, back when I started it, I was using Star of Destiny as a way for me to show someone how much I cared for them. It was to be something they could read and then understand how I felt; in other words, it was folly. I don't know why I did that, but this is no longer why I write the story. Now it is nothing more than me wanting to world create. I think that, slowly, I'm achieving that. Hopefully others will enjoy it now.
