Another character in the same season as Ying and Ken. I call him Feache -- he hates being called that.
He's what I call an Aquillian: a very secretive underwater race that hates outsides with a passion. Feache is no exception -- he hates creatures from the land, and often calls them 'air breathers' or 'land walkers' as in insult. But, he's also deathly afraid of water.
Years ago, his still-unhatched daughter and wife were killed during a raid by the villain of their season, and during the fight, Feache's gills got sliced by a curse (They're located on his thighs). Unable to breathe underwater anymore, he went to the land, hoping to slowly die rather than ever bother to learn to live on land. But Ying and her captain found him and offered him a job on their ship. Feache quickly took over the Shining Eagle (Their ship) and made it his own, filling it with weapons and booby traps at every inch. He saw it as a home and valued it above all else, getting very angry very quickly is anyone dares harm it. The sky begame his home, and he avoids land as much as possible, only leaving his ship when unavoidable. He fears water above all else, panicking if he ever gets near a large body of it.
He still sees all land-walkers as inferior, though -- he doesn't seem to care if the rest fof the crew dies. He seems to befriend Pikapika, an airborn mechanic, and actually respect Ying a little bit, which in itself is amazing. Don't get him wrong -- he loves his whole crew. He just don't...show it. Ever.
