Speedpaint 1

I bought this lecture dvd thingie online, hoping i could learn something about colors and such. I got allot of AHA's along the way, i'm not finished watching, but i wanted to test out one thing the "lecturer" said, so i made this 20 min speedie to test it out. There ain't that much color variation here, but that wasn't what i was trying either. I really like this dvd. No... I love it!
I feel like i've learned so much lately. An article in Imagine FX which i've subscribed to, tought me this trick to poses that has made that world so much easier for me. And now this dvd, as well as Henning's article in the latest Imagine FX.
Seriously guys, if you are serious about digital painting, then subscribe to imagine fx. Sometimes they've got great tutorials, and videos showing how the artists paint.
other times they're not so good, but still there is allot of inspiration in there.

Oh and it's all done with the first 36 brush, time used about 20 min. one layer.

PS: and this is one of those speedpaint where the picture just appears, rather then being planned.
