I'm currently waiting for some paint to dry for a project I'm working on in school. We are making our own sketchbooks and I've decided to go with a space theme for the cover. To keep myself occupied while the current coats toughens up a little I tried my hand at painting a space scene.
This is my first try at this sort of thing. I think it could do with a few harder edges and maybe some definitive nebula clouds. That's what always catches my eye in the NASA photos.
Of course, it's no accident that it might take on the appearance of a slug

Yeah, they are supposed to be stardust particles and distant stars. It needs some more work to really 'get there' I think. But hey, that's what practice is for.
Not sleeping is what I'm doing! Sometimes it just happens. I get some kinda... 'bug'... where I just get restless. I usually end up staying up for a couple days straight and then it's outta me and I'm tired as all hell
