Hit and Run

My OC, Shay D. She probably just hit someone in the head with a snowball and is now....laughing at them. Nice girl. (Yes, I know it's August. I like snow, ok? >:/)

Not quite as good as my last Sonic-esque picture, but I still like the coloring here. I really enjoyed making art of one of my OWN characters for once. (I realize I do most of my art for other people...) This was overall just for fun, and it WAS fun. :> Shay's right hand was a little hard to position, but in the end I think it turned out looking alright.
If nothing else, it was good coloring practice.

I blame NR for all the Sonic art. I hadn't made any in a while and then I got all inspired-like. Now I have two other pieces in the works; some lineart of Shadow for the 100 pic challenge and a picture of Silver I hope to make look pretty good.


Note*
I would appreciate it, (if you actually like this piece,) if you would take the time to uprate this to counterract the multitude of downrates this will inevitably get.
