The Dreamer

I walk around the city.
In my dreams it's my city.
But it's fading away.
What a pity.

I'm the hero in my own adventure.
I use my own rules.
Nobody recognizes me.
In the real world I'm going to a lecture.

You think you know me, but you don't
I'm mysterious, I'm a shadow.
Will you become a hero when you're old?
I will not, I won't.

If I even fail in my dreams,
It's no use.

This is how I made this (today, for me it felt like yesterday...):

I should go to bed...

-Finished-
...That was a fast one...

Smiling Devil Says:

I like it, though the rhyme in the first alinea is well... it's not a good choice when you're writing heavy poetry.
