The Vampire and the Masquerade Chap.1 Sec.2

When Wrath emerged from the room fully dressed the woman was sitting on a bench gazing over the gallery balustrade at the enchanted dancers still whirling together on the floor below. She was sipping from a wineglass of blood, cradling it in her slender gloved fingers. She seemed both peaceful and sad as she gazed though it was hard for him to make out her emotions though her masquerade.
“What do you do at sunrise?” He asked felling guilty at breaking the silence between them, but quickly sweeping it under the carpet in his mind.
She was startled at being disturbed and visibly jumped in her seat. The beads in her hair jingled as she looked up at him.
“Lock the place up” she said remembering her wineglass again and taking a sip, “put the dancers to sleep and go to bed myself.”
“Do you know the hour?” he asked trying to decide what to do next.
“Three hours to dawn” she replied looking over the railing again, “take a little I suppose.”
Wrath mused over his options. He didn’t have anywhere to go really. He’d just been wandering and it’d been years since he’d seen another of his kind. There was nothing wrong with stopping here to spend some time making a friend. Especially is she was available. He smirked to himself.

Okay, next part. Hopefully I can think of something to happen next :P If you're following along I'd love your thoughts on what's happening. It's hard to tell a story when you don't know if anyone's listening.

IT IS HIGHLY SUGGESTED THAT THIS BE READ FROM THE BEGINNING!!!
