I lovelovelove this picture.
How was it done? Petrol.
We did try alcohol first (alcohol abuse, lulz) but it doesn't burn for long enough - gin worked best, of all the spirits we have in our house, though.
Good times.
ZiggyPhoto--that is, the photography account of ZiggyBuggy--is full of well-constructed compositions, interesting subjects, and beautiful colors. However, it's the extra conceptualism behind Fire and Ice that really sets it apart. What is actually an almost cliche phrase is suddenly invigorated by Ziggy's ability to bring it together physically, and then capture that on film with great technical skill. If for no other reason, give Ziggy applause--and a lot of it--for the creativity to put this still life together, and in such a tidy fashion.
I was going to say that Bacardi 151 is highly flamable and gives off a blue fire but i knew right off the bat, due to color, that you didnt use alcohol. I'm a bartender lol. Try bacardi 151 though and see how you like the effect. =]
