I made this earlier using Google SketchUp, it's a free 3D modeling tool. It's really easy to use, but it's not very indepth, and you can't animate what you have drawn, or use it in games, so, I'm only using it temporarily, then I will move on to Maya.

I've tried google sketchup a bit, and except becoming familiar with how 3D objects look in four different viewports what you learn by using that program won't benefit you much in maya.
