Death by Kibble?

We recently changed the type of cat food we use because we couldn't keep the kitten and elder cat out of each other's food. Simon was getting too lean eating Pixie's old cat diet food and Pixie was putting on yet MORE weight eating high energy kitten rocket fuel. We got a food formulated for multi-cat households that's kind of a happy medium. Tonight was their first night of having nothing but that in the two feeding stations. I walk by the dish we have set up in the living room for Simon this evening and see something very strange....

The photo was not a set-up. The cats did this themselves and I just happened to notice and have the digi cam handy. It was too good a shot to miss. LOL I'm not altogether sure if this is their commentary on the new food or if I might need to be worried when I go to bed tonight.... Or maybe it's their homage to Chthulhu..... XD
