the square patterns makes his body look flat because the rest of the picture has well-defined shades. maybe you can hand-draw bigger squares in his shirt to make it not so flat.
the head is very well colored. did it take long to color the hair?
I love how you did the hair, but maybe if the pattern of the hoodie flowed with the folds of the hoodie and along the body, that would've been awesome!
