Ione is very quiet, and she gets ignored. That...is actually her role in the story: being ignored. She's like Mary Ann on
Gilligan's Island, except she can't boil water, much less prepare a seven-course dinner from coconuts. Alas, for she is shy, untalented, and rather plain.
