This image was done as an entry for a t-shirt design competition. I seriously doubt it will win considering what won this organization's last contest. It's probably way more complex than what they're looking for, but I couldn't come up with any ideas for the theme that were more simple. Ah, well. Win or not, it'll likely end up as prints and merchandise somewhere along the line, but more likely in the original form and reworked a little since this was meddled with to make it a nice t-shirt image and not just some artwork.
Items used (Mostly available on Daz 3D):
*Michael 3
*M3 Wizard Robes
*M3 Pullback Hair
*Stag
*Millenium Dog
*PW Surface (shader)
*DAZ Millenium Environment & texture
*Shepherd's crook (RuntimeDNA.com I think)
*Raptura's Fog Brushes (Renderosity.com), though not unaltered. They were a base to start from and I hand worked that layer as well.

would say you're probably right that it's more complex than what one would normally see on a T-shirt, simply because to me, details on a T-shirt need to be evident from a distance.

HOWEVER--that said, I think you have a nice piece of art that would stand on its own very well if you struck the text and let it speak for itself. The wizard in particular is a VERY compelling figure...the pose, the lighting, and the position really capture the eye and it makes me wonder what his story would be. I'm curious, did you just use the DAZ models as a reference and then paint them from there? This looks too much like actual drawing to be just the DAZ renders.

I love the design and the wizard looks really well done, almost life-like.
