Well, now that I've finished Metroid Confusion 2, I have time to experiment with different styles that I want to use, such as anime. I've tried drawing anime before I got my tablet, but I wasn't too satisfied with my results (even when I hand-drew it, scanned it into my computer and traced it with the line tool). However, since I got the tablet it has been much easier to create characters that I like. This is the first character that I made that I think is worthy of being put up in my gallery, but maybe I'll look back later and see that I don't really like it.
Anyway, she's just an idea, if the picture gets enough good response I may use her in some future anime project once I get good enough. It has rather simple cell shading (i.e. just along the outlines

) minus the boots, which I seem to have forgotten to shade. It was completely done in Flash, except the eye coloring which I did in Photoshop after realizing that I had forgotten to do it in Flash before. This isn't necessarily "my new style," just something I'd like to try out. If I get better, I'll probably have thinner outlines and more complex clothing once I get better at drawing folds.
