I've finally redone a map for my sci-fi universe thing that is still languishing underdeveloped.
What we have here is the Official world map that is disseminated to the citizens of the Empire, the actual political divisions as known among the political institutions of the world, and a up to date situational map which reflects the opening of several new military fronts by the United Red States.
The source photo I used was a high quality (200+MB!) .TIFF taken from NASA's blue marble satelite photographs.
