Argh. This pic took way to long to complete, but it did help me improve my colored penciling skills. Ah well, I know no one is really interested in bio pics, but I'm posting them anyway because that's all I have right now . . .
*~Character Bio~*
N: Malcolm Scott Kelley, aka "Mick" or "Mickey"
Age: 23
Height: 5'10"
Hair: Golden blond, thick, slightly wavy, cut long on top, shaggy in back and very closely cut on sides of head around ears. Parted far to the left.
Eyes: Hazel w/ implanted lenses that turn orange in bright light, and black in poor light.
Race/History: Human. History unknown
Location: Terra Dunuo
Current Employment: Bouncer in downtown bar;'Destiny'
Temper: Quiet, reserved and often perceived as ill-humored because of it, Mickey is really not so bad as everyone might believe him to be. Though capable of devasting strength and skill, he very rarely looses his temper. He is known for his sarcastic sense of humor, frank observations and skill with guns and hand-to-hand combat, skills no one is exactly sure HOW came to be-even him.
Family: Adopted. Only child. Biological parents unknown.
General:
Mickey is the sort of guy everyone wants on their side, if only because he's capable of being so dangerous NO ONE wants to see him coming at them from the opposite team. Be that as it may, Mickey may project this intimidating aura and even thrive off of the response he gets from it, but deep down, his life is befuddled with questions and forgotten memories of great importance. He's not quite so sure of himself as he'd like to believe.
Past the age of eight, Mickey can recall none of his past, but he sees images, hears voices and experiences "feelings" that let him know that wherever he came from must have been very important. Voices seem to talk to him almost constantly, telling him what to do.
He often struggles with his purpose, wondering where he came from and knowing he is not fulfilling some unknown duty. It would sure help if he knew what it was!
Mickey hides his struggles and uncertainties well, however, and projects nothing but confidence to those around him.
In Zoe Mickey feels he has found one of those lost pieces, though they have no other connection but their initial meeting. There is nothing romantic about this feeling, but just a sense of obligation. Something she says during their meeting seems to ring in his sub-conscious, and Mick secretly hopes THIS is the unknown duty he is supposed to fulfill: Protect her, help her further her goals, and perhaps discover more of his own.
Mickey posesses incredible strength, able to easily lift an average-sized person off the floor with one hand, is well-versed in hand to hand combat from a young age, excels in using his hybrid pistols, capable of sure-fire aim even when using both guns and in fast-paced situations and has a car (a hot commodity on this struggling planet), of which he was built almost from the ground up, which he's quite proud of.
Mistrustful should be his middle name, but in Zoe, Mickey finds a purpose, and a even more rarely, a friend, who is willing to prove him innocent when he is accused of a crime he didn't commit.
And thus, this chance meeting starts them down a road that will change both their lives forever. . .
