Zero, Legendary Reploid Chapter 5


When Zero, X, and Sky got to Neo Arcadia, a lot of the outer utopia had been put to ruin, but all of the Mavericks had been forced to stay outside of the inner utopia. The four guardians had already made sure that all of the citizens were out of danger, and Dr. Weil and Omega were now in the fray. Seeing how badly damaged it all was, X was shocked. Zero dashed towards a group of mavericks, slashing them all in half using his Saber. X shook his shock out of his head, then charged up his buster. When it was fully charged, he released it on another group of mavericks. Sky'd dissappeared from site, probably looking for her friends, but destroying a few mavericks along the way, as well. They'd all destroy mavericks from the outside, until they could meet up with the four guardians. So far, it was just various types of pantheons and capsule cannons, but eventually, there were garms, golems, and condoroids. It seemed as if the Neo Arcadian forces had gotten most of the mavericks, but that just meant that the strongest enemies would be too hard to take care of with the forces tiring out: Dr. Weil and Omega.


Eventually, X and Zero found the four guardians with Omega, and they were quite obviously tired. Omega had his saber held up in the air, ready to swing it down and finish off Harpuia, of whom had been 'grounded'. Zero couldn't resist a sarcastic remark that stopped Omega from casting the finishing blow, "Did anyone call back-up? Or is everyone just playing around?"

Omega froze for a few seconds, then sent a cold glare in X and Zero's direction. "Oh? Did you come to watch me finish of the guardians, Zero?"

"Nope, I came to see that we finished you ", was Zero's only reply, as he readied has Z-Saber and dashed down towards Omega's direction. X had charged his buster and blasted it into Omega's direction, hitting Omega's chest, forcing him to step back. Zero grabbed this chance to unleash a combo of seven slashes from his Saber before Omega could block it. Phantom had recovered enough energy to throw some kunai at Omega from behind, hitting their mark. Leviathan had slashed at Omega with her Halberd, while Harpuia had slashed at him with his twin dual sabers, and Fefnir blasted Omega with his busters. All hit their mark, but Omega had swung his Saber at them, causing them to either jump back, or slightly falter due to the amount of damage they had taken.

Meanwhile, where Sky is....

Sky walked down a 'beaten path' of some buildings that had been brought to ruin, and saw that they'd been abandoned for a while. She started looking around more, hoping to find her friends Hammie, Praxis Dante, and her pet dragonoid (or so she was told it was called), Starlight -- or Star, for short. Praxis blonde spiky hair with red tips, and wore a open blue jacket with a red t-shirt, baggy army pants with large boots, arm bracers, shoulder armour on his left shoulder, a white headband with a red dot in the middle, a yellow cape with a large collar and a scarf, a large scar running from the top left of his face to the bottom right of his face, and a red saber and a blue saber, a buster, and had the element of fire. He'd been an old friend of hers.

Starlight had been a pet that her parents had given her before they'd died when she was three. Starlight had gone missing about a week before this, and had been a small dragon, with red and blue slit eyes (like a cat's, but with red on one side of her eye and blue on the other), and white scales, or feathers, whichever you prefer. She'd helped protect Sky when she was younger.

Hammie was an old friend of hers as well, and was a reploid with hamster ears, and was almost always on the positive side. Sky'd been forced to disappear without warning for unkown reasons, and hadn't gotten the chance to say good-bye.

Sky was jerked out of her thoughts when she heard a twig snap, and froze in her path for a few seconds. Turning around, she came face-to-face with Dr. Weil.
