Hey guys and gals, how's it been?

Haven't been active lately, sorry about that, but I think I'll start posting more often (or so I hope).

Here's something new from me, something softer, more melodic.

Let's do something fun for this one, just for kicks, name the chord progressions and tensions included/used in them!

And for the guitar geeks out there, I used:

-For the clean arpegios I used; Ovation Al Dimeola guitar connected via XLR to a MobilePre(m-audio) interface, straight to Audacity and then secuenced in FLStudio!

-For the leads; Fender Strat (American Standard), with three DiMarzio pick-ups, PAF Pro for neck, HS3 on mid and Super Distortion on Bridge- Worked mostly with the neck though! All that connected throught a BOSS NS-2 and down to a Peavey Bandit 112 (old series) - Used a Shure 57 to capture from the amp, then into the interface, and then it's basically the same as the acoustic!

Oh, and of course, Enjoy!

-Eric

Eric B Says:

Hey, even if it's mellow: DON'T FORGET TO CRANK IT UP!

Cyril Says:

That was very beautiful. Uh... nice job! ANd I don't feel like guessing on the stuff, but it was very well done.

ProudOne Says:

Epic.

SallyMusic Says:

Very nice, I don't think I've ever heard anything this mellow from you before, it's good to show your versatility!

Bass clarinetgal2708 Says:

That's so beautiful. ^-^

AngelsDontKill Says:

That's just amazing! (You and Cyril knowing your chords and all that scares me, I know nothing O.O )
The fact that you used Audacity is awesome, shows how much you kick my ass, hahaha. I started with Audacity, but found quite the escape with Cubase SX3 and FL Studio. Your composition here is very neat, and your time is well spent. Thank you for making such great calm music! I'd rather listen to this than a lot of Steve Vai

Merina Says:

As promised, I am checking it out right now.
Very emotional work.
This would do very good on a CD with Lovely Morning, .
I really hope you're going to make more songs like this.
It's something different, and sheezyart is absolutely lacking difference.
Some few notes reminded me to a part of Dream Theater.
Very happy to hear some relaxing music. Keep it up, Eric.

Shadowii2 Says:

That surely has some calm and great melody, gotta say that the sea water(?) sounds on the background fit in well here.

Starfox Fan Girl Says:

This is so beautiful.

glmathgrant Says:

. . . I can't find words to describe it. I'm just. . . it's just beautiful, and relaxing, and other generic words that a guy who doesn't know enough about music to leave a decent comment would use. I know enough about music to win an award, but that's it. D=

But. . . yeah. Also, everything Cyril said. He's smart.
