Who the hell is this? Where’d she come from? Lylat? True, she has a Star-Fox-ish look to her, but no, Not there…
No, This young lady comes from the wild, wonderful World of Bill Burnett’s Sea View mod for Microsoft Train Simulator.
SAY WHAT?!?
The Sea View route is a railroad that connects a chain of rather…interesting…islands in the Caribbean. Or thereabouts. Mr. Burnett, and his friends, created a wacky, wonderful place, with an undersea city, Every environment from desert to tundra, a spaceport, alien abductions, Monorails, a “Heritage†Island, Australia, Land of the Lost, Etc, etc, etc…
It seems, though, that there’s a bit of a subplot afoot. The government of Sea View has a number of Projects around…Biotech companies in a place called the Vault give concern, as does the mysterious Cloaked Island…which ACTUALLY IS CLOAKED!!!! (Mind you, this game was meant for driving freight trains over Marias Pass and hauling ass down the North East Corridor, not hiding secret government installations.) Someone saw this, decided to write a few stories about it. Those stories became an RP. That RP…well…(http://svdetective.proboards21.com/index.cgi)
And that guy? Sea View Detective.
I ran across the forum in the link above, and, yeah, I’ve joined. Jim is my primary, but I also have a secondary.
Sarah.
Sarah is a humorless, serious 100% of the time, highly logical Arctic Fox, (The term "Dr. Spock" was once used,) an experiment in high-speed adaptation to climate change. Her fur can go from winter to summer in a full day. Part of the long-running “Project Darwin,†she hijacked Jim’s hy-rail truck, in order to escape Government agents looking for her.
It should be noted that Jim and Sarah take no romantic interest in one another. Sarah seems incapable of taking a romantic interest, and Jim thinks of her more as a sister. Besides: Marital constraints.
I don’t intend on crossing any Sea View storylines with the Tico ones, although I do draw heavily on the Tico storylines for the SV ones.
