The story behind the image is I use to have a small plastic flamingo in my front garden. Then one day it disappeared leaving only its small metal stick legs. So there is a flamingo thief in my neighboorhood... I think the psycho-gnome might be the culprit...
Also, browsing around Pyscho Captain's gallery it seemed that the gnome changed clothing on occassion... so I drew him in some summer attire.

The gnome sits, waits, and snatches the poor defenseless plastic flamingo ornament to sell off in the black market deep underground in its hidden society, beneath our very feet. While it may be worthless here, its value is more than anything of "precious" value to the society of . . . gnomes.

Oh, who am I kidding?!? Anyways, while I hit my head at being an idiot, I really like this. Seriously, this is one pretty cool interpretation. He looks so weary, almost as if surveying the area in hopes that no one will see him snatch the poor pink ornament. But to imagine a small creature in summer attire . . .
