No spiral

Creepy. And a bad photo. I remember for a long time I was sucked into such drawings in black gel pen. Gel pen remains to this day my favourite medium, though recent times have steered me into pencil more and more. With gel pen, the detail you can get in with just black and white is what intrigued me. Practice gives you the ability to judge better and better what will be clear and what will not. Where should be dark and where should be light. It is an entirely lengthly process though, to fill a whole page with ink from such a fine tool.
