Part of the soundtrack for 'The Strange and Somewhat Sinister Tale of the House at Desert Bridge'.
This is one of two short pieces I drafted today (the mix is not perfect, needs some polishing...) for a game soundtrack I'm working on. The game is an old-school adventure (point and click!) by an independent writer/designer/programmer who is also a friend of mine. It's not a commercial project, just a bit of fun, but it's adorable. The game's graphics are all stylised crayon drawings! It's amazing! Eccentric and melancholic and quirky and witty and magical.
It loops (ish!) so it's -supposed- to finish abruptly in this manner. Just so you know, that's not an upload error or something.
I wasn't sure about the little vocal touches but they've grown on me. Hum dee dum. I'm still waiting to hear back from the author - I hope he likes it.
I know I haven't put a new song up for ages. I'm working on lots of stuff at the moment... I will try to remember to update this a little more regularly!

So nice to hear from you again
For a crayon drawed game this piece seem to perfect in it. Would love to see and hear both one day =) Good work!

This piece sounds perfectly suited for the game's mood. Nay, it sounds quite professional, even! I'd expect this music in a game people are selling for money, and that becomes an instant classic amongst gamers for its epicness and things! Beautiful and yay, indeed! =D

When I first heard it I heard some elements from Nobuo Uematsu myself, which will put it right on track with a video game! I really like it
Hope to see the game sometime ^^
