Been Without

Uhhh...A pencil doodle that I decided to color.

Elly n' Arrio, natch. Their relationship is this thing where I keep doing a double-take and saying, "Wait, I wrote that?? Huh. I guess I did." It wasn't really supposed to happen, but then once their personalities were in place, they couldn't really not fall for one another. I guess in-canon it wasn't supposed to happen, either. And now it's this huge element of the story, go figure.

Well...I comfort myself by saying that it works because of the involvement of the paparazzi, and the outrageous national scandal, and all of Elly's political credibility being shot to Hell (Not that it doesn't stop a little coup d'état a few years later...) and the recognition that there's a lot of moral bankruptcy involved from all parties. Just kinda makes the story all...stronger, when Arrio finally does something good. Eloise never really understands, though; and, here, she's supposed to be the smart one. Well...she's smart, but she isn't wise.

*Cough* Anyway, they're kinda cute together. In an odorous sort of way.
