This is one of my characters, Finch... the one who is alive but may not live. The anti-hero of his very own tragic tale... and as written in his memoirs:
"ka zu czeitec... idé cho. (The victorious toad... should be strong. - Kiyan culture based phrase which would be 'ka zu czei idé cho' or 'the victorious one should be strong'.)
The breeze blows chilly this evening. But from this day, I have forever changed. I have never accepted any faith up to this point. But I have encountered Krypiroth of the Barren Lands.
He took me out to see his shamans. They were weak and dying. I had never been so hot. I could also feel myself dying. I stood by, quiet. He made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. He tricked me into a ceremony that was to increase the power of his shamans... at the expense of my life. By removing my magic aura from me, he also damaged my life aura. Now it is no more than an extra piece that would fix someone else’s life... but once I die, my soul will be gone forever.
I am not scared. I move on without fear. I will have no regrets as my life is a good one... and the God that betrayed me was only doing what he could to save his race. If it were not me, it would’ve been another poor soul. While I still do not accept faith as a means of consuming my time, I seek out a being that stands above others. One to accept and forever savour the life I shall give them. Then my purpose... will be fulfilled. Signed... Finch."

I always thought anti-heroes were more insteresting than heroes. Mostly because their stories are far diverse than the heroes.
I like it, the concept of reality and art. :) He is just too cute.
