I had a reoccurring idea to make myself a calendar with a different phoenix for each month. I'm not making the months in order, and this was an idea I wanted to draw for the month of February.
The phoenix's wings are asymmetric because that is the way I wanted it to be, the main idea being that love isn't perfect most of the time, but it can be very close.
It was sketched, then mouse colored on the computer. It took me a while to finish it! O_O
