Which she was from the moment she was born.
Anyways, this is Aisha in her dress outfit when she was a child. Although her parents wished taht she wouldn't wear it like this, so that her chest is visible. (Cue the problem of over-conservative parents.) But she tried to wear it more open like this when they weren't around. She thought it much more comfortable. ^__^

Nice. I like the costume especially.
It's a little odd to see her with just one eye though.
Is that part of her character?

You should try using Prismacolor markers on archival sketchbook paper.
Cardstock will also work. Prismacolors are wonderful.
Just don't ever use them on slick paper. You'd cry your eyes out. LoL
Slick paper will smear the lineart and the marker will not blend.
Anyway...
this is an absolutely beautiful piece.
I love the detail in this.
The face is very, very pretty.

Heheheh I love how certain colors glow when the scanner hits them, like the gold and the turquois veil.
I love how you drew the hood and the jewels.
the purple could have been blended with the clear blender, because I can see the strokes and where the strokes layer up on each other.
Is the veil colored pencil? If so, you should experiment with colored pencil more, it really does look pretty good, the way you color with it.
I love how structured, crisp and clean your drawings are!
I'd love to see a full bodied pic of this
