I haven't been posting much lately, so here is something I normally wouldn't bother showing. It's a scrappy design for jieyi's (http://jieyi.deviantart.com/) TOTC 2008 project. I've written a story based on Snow White and am currently illustrating it for the book.
Much deliberation occurred between me and a number of friends over whether or not she should have glasses and what style they should be. In the end I think I'm happy with these, they suit her personality more I think.

is that photoshop or whut? the painting looks cool, but maybe the effect I am seeing is a texture

she's so cute. I like some of the 'traditional' elements of the costume, and the glasses seem like a nice balance between modern and old. And the shoes are awesome, don't change them no matter what anyone says, and they're also the best place for the rose design.
