First in a series of rethinking for Chronicles of Terra.

Previous name: Suzaku Ildri

Well, two things:

First, yes, I did decide on the new name for the main character of CoT. Mitsuki just sounds better than... what was the other one... Yuzuki. I also decided to keep with the language of the name and dropped Ildri, since the fire/ life theme was gone. Most, if not all story elements are still there. However, I will say this: She will have a much darker story shown for herself. It will not be full of bunnies. In fact, I still plan a semi rewrite, and the new first scene I'm thinking of for the prologue will indeed be a little bloody... I blame Tsukihime and Type-Moon...
And second... well, I was thinking about the old design on Wednesday of last week, and told myself, "I'm sick of the beautiful, olderly sister type of look. It's overdone in... well, pretty much in all anime. I think a more reserved personality would work better." And so, taking some points from Nagato Yuki and Morimiya Aono, I decided on this look. Her eyes are still violet, but I decided to give her the black/white theme I had going around. She still has the lines on the sleeves, though.
She actually takes more after Yuki now, though look-wise she's more like Aono. I liked the idea of an intelligent main character, since we always seem to get the firey, not-very smart people, especially when they're male.

Possibly expect another picture sometime in the future. Later on, after I finished and the paper was getting bad (need new, stronger sketchbooks again...), I thought of some new things to do to it.
In the ways of shading, I think I tried harder this time, in reference to the moon. Obviously the moon is basic, but I never learned how to properly draw one besides a giant, white orb. Besides, if I changed the meaning of her name a bit, it'd be "Pale Moon" rather than "Beautiful Moon."
Otherwise, it shows my obsession with flowy clothing.

I'm mostly bringing out character designs because someone was rather adamant about me not having them, and it just felt like it'd help me visualize the story.

Mitsuki Ketsueko and Chronicles of Terra by me.
Art by me.
