WIP for my trade with
. I'm doing a new texture to it, but I'm not too sure if it's going right...so I need some crits here please!
Specifically on:
1)The nose. Does that dot texture look too strange there?
2)The contrast. Does it look like it needs more black areas in there to add more contrast and create more obvious highlights?

The dot texture will look odd before you color, but should look right once you finish. It's kinda tricky to critique when you're not fully finished Lol Looks nice so far though.

From the size its at, the nose looks fine, the muzzle is a little on the blotchy side but i'm sure will look fine when its all done.
As for the dark areas, well you could expan them a little maybe, just a tad.
The lower jaw, I cant see any plnned lines too well there, but I suggest perhaps adding some of the fur texture round the lips there, give it more a 3d feel.

I think you should add mor shading on the hairs around the face such as defining the eyes and things like that. lol
