Me n My Homies

Allrighty, finally done after a day and a half of work! This actually started as a completely different idea. I busted out the 11 x 17 paper and just started doodling my c spartan's armor (on the right) and before you know it, I had come up with a pretty cool looking pose. So I continued on and the process I used was pretty unorthodox! I would draw half the body in loose light pencil, the begin inking. I had all of the spartans with completely no background. So when I got home I loaded up the Ole theater in Halo 3 and got myself a nice reference. I originally had High Grounds in mind, but since when is there a warthog spawn on there? (Yes, I know, unless you use Forge, shutuptalkingtome!). Anyways, I am really happy with this piece because it is completely all markers. Yes, I did some tweaking in Photoshop, but the original is just as cool. I hope you all enjoy it!
