Original Sketch Completed: January 31st

I quote what I said about this picture on SketchBok. "I'm not looking forward to inking this picture. I'm really not."

Top to bottom: Oswald (Odin Sphere), Lelouch Lamperouge/Zero (Code Geass) and Lucian (Lunar Knights)

Posting the sketch since who knows how long it'll be before I get brave enough to ink it. This sketch took three and a half hours to do.

Most difficult in this sketch, believe it or not, was Lucian. the Jormungandr is a task in itself, but Lucian's pose gave me trouble. Strangely enough, Oswald was the easiest. His right arm looks off (I'll try to edit that before it's inked) and the Belderiver (his sword) was a little tough, but it was easier than Lelouch himself. I know Lelouch's lower waist and cape go through each other, but the cape'll most likely be over his body in the finished product.

These three are all 'Black Knights' in their own way. Oswald is a Shadow Knight, Lelouch is the leader of the Black Knights organization, and Lucian is a Dark Swordsman. Hence why I put these three together (And all three are my favorite characters from each of their series). Oswald is holding his sword the Belderiver, Lelouch is holding a black King chess piece, Lucian his holding his spear Jormungandr.

I think it'll definitely be a while before I ink this. x_X;

I think the entire thing turned out really great! Compiling 3 characters in one shot is almost impossible to do sometimes, especially when they have such complicated armor, clothing and weapons with them! All of them are clearly visible, I like the arrangement, and their eyes is pretty. :3 Lucian's pose is definitely my favorite. Even if it was the hardest to do, I think it looks the best. It gives a nice anchored feel to the center of the drawing.

Good work, and good luck with the inking!
