Decided I'd do something to get crap outta my way in my mind and draw up the concept for Solar Zero, BECAUSE I CAN. =__=
Anyway, first thing I did was the head, front and back... side you should know how it looks by now if anything. Didn't bother trying to do a body just yet, though the quills just stop at the point where his shoulders start. Also from the back point, you can count I have 7 quills with them all retreating inward, the last and middle quill under all of them. Why? Once again, cause I can.
I went to the trouble of trying to shade something, not sure how well that came out. Expression is the simple snide smile Solar would normally wear, and quite litterally a piece of crap under my abilities.

Honestly it's just knuckles in blue.
I'd advise working on your shading and establishing a definite lightsource.
The dreadlocks are a bit sausage shaped, and odd looking. I'd advise working on the taper a bit more.
I'd comment on the proportions, but you're drawing in the sonic style so nobody really cares.
Draw more of your own art. It's okay.
