I love the sense of symmetry this has.
It also has a lovely kind of pattern to it, kind of like an old Celtic knot pattern or something of the sort. Which also draws me to the colours, the use of such a bright colour in the centre is striking, while the dark red and the almost-black of the outside is really quite beautiful.
Kind of like blood against granite.
