Simba ~ Under the Stars

Hmm, don't really know what to say about this pic. I drew Simba while watching The Lion King last month, and decided to ink it this month. The lineart came out good, and I like the pose, but everything else is just..... meh.
I think the grass ruins it all, to tell you the truth. Doesn't really fit, to me. It took me forever to get the colors to mix without getting a super bright green and dark brown combination. Well, like I've been saying, my backgrounds need WORK.
I don't really upload much Lion King fanart at the Sheezy, but this here's an exeption, since I've barely been uploading at all.
....... I think the border makes it better. Kind of takes the focus of the ugly grass..... a little.
