How Do You Love?
How do you love?
Does your soul burn white?
Does your heart still beat
Within that void called a chest?
When I look in your eyes
And you glance away
Sorrow, it seems
Is reborn every day.
By blood blooming rose
And heart of thorns,
Set my soul apart,
Collect dust on the floor.
Shatter the glass jar
Filled with sweet hope.
Watch as it drifts
Through the hole
In the door.
As my smile fades
And your heart misses beats.
Tears take their toll
Love suffer defeat.

I like this, it's very visual, and the visions fit the flow. I epecially love those last two sentences.
