There was once a girl named Lucy. She and her brother, Jude, both lived in a poor orphanage in the middle of a place called Strawberry Fields. It was a very large and uneventful place. Nothing ever really happened, especially when ol’ Ms. Rigby, the mean and greedy orphanage director, was around. All she ever did was abuse, nag, and yell at the poor siblings.

There was one thing that Lucy and Jude have always wanted to do, and that was fly. They had never ending dreams of soaring into the sky like a bird and freely ride the wind. Many tries to fly using cardboard pieces taped to their arms have been attempted, but their ideas never really “took off”.

One day, while they were hiding from ol’ Ms. Rigby in the shade of their garden, they were suddenly blinded by a bright flash. “Do not be afraid,” a large, booming voice said. They looked up into the sky as they regained their eyesight and saw that looked like a face in the sun. “I am the Sun King,” the large face said. The siblings looked astonished. They had never seen anything like this before in their short little lives.

“I have heard your most desired wish to fly and have decided to grant you your wishes,” The Sun King boomed. “Finally!” The siblings thought to themselves. Finally acquiring the ability to fly excited them both very much. All of the suddent, they felt an abrupt feeling of lifting off the ground… they we’re actually flying! It took a little practice at first, but eventually, they were flying like real professionals. “Use your new flying abilities at your own discretion,” the Sun King stated. They agreed to him, said their goodbyes, and flew off into the sky like two speedy blackbirds.

They flew in many speeds, styles, and directions. They went fast and slow, up and down and all around! They constantly flew around so much; they made it high above the clouds. When they were at the highest point, they had spotted what looked like a large house! As they approach the enormous home, they decide to just go straight in to see what’s inside. When they arrived, there was a huge mountain of diamonds! They were simply astonished! “We should take some home!” exclaimed Lucy. Jude was very hesitant. “I don’t know, maybe we should just let it be…” He said nervously. “Aww, come on Jude. Don’t make it bad.” responded Lucy with a slight perkiness.

As they started to gather up some diamonds, all of the sudden, there was large rumbling that shook the entire house. A large man with the body structure of an egg slowly entered the room as he spotted the two tiny gnat-like humans below his knees. “Who might you be, and why are you taking my diamonds?!” the large man boomed. Lucy and Jude gulped. “Hi… uh… my name is Jude and her name is Lucy,” he said nervously. “I AM THE EGGMAN!!” he exclaimed, rumbling the house as he spoke. “I am going to ask for the last time… WHERE ARE YOU TAKING MY DIAMONDS?!”
“We’re taking some home! Got a problem with that?” respond Lucy. Jude lightly smacks his face in discontent.

“Not on my watch!” he yelled, shaking the house once again. As he tries to grab them, they quickly dodge him and hide underneath a large table. “Come back here!” shouts the egg-like giant. As the two siblings frantically search for a spot to escape, Lucy luckily spots a large and very strong rope. “Hey Jude! Maybe we can use this rope to try to trip him!”
“I don’t know, are you sure that’s a good idea?”
“Of course! A giant man needs a giant rope! Alright, you hold one end and I hold the other, and we can just sweep under him like a jump rope!”
Jude complies and nervously grabs one end of the rope. Lucy quickly grabs the other. “Alright, on my count, we fly under him and trip him like a day tripper! One… Two… THREE!” At that point, they quickly zip across the giant’s large legs and successfully take him down! “Goo-goo-ga-joob…” he dizzily said as he slowly goes unconscious. The siblings quickly celebrate as they start to re-gather some of the diamonds they had lost. “Let’s get outta here!” Lucy exclaimed as they escape the large house.

As they descend down to the ground, they quickly show ol’ Ms. Rigby what they had gathered. She becomes astounded to what they had found and attempts to steal the diamonds from them. Just like the giant, they’re too quick for the old lady and quickly swoon out of there, escaping from the clutches of ol’ Ms. Rigby once and for all! They now live on their own land, happily living out the rest of their life with no sadness.
