I really love the Mad Hatter because he is such an interesting character in both Alice in Wonderland and Batman (two of my big big loves). I have decided to include him in Gotham Girls Redux and also just love him lots so decided to do a bit of a doodle with him (I added a bit of colour on the computer). I love the cover of him with the baseball players for the detective comics but I also love his original animation design. I think I will do a better picture of him later when I have done all of my promised pictures and stuff.
Okay so starting from top left and going clockwise we have; me attempting to make him look menacing as The Mad Hatter (it was the first one I did
), him in what are supposed to be pyjamas (goes with GGR), him as sweet technician Jervis Tetch and finally him as The Mad Hatter looking sad. Awww poor Jervis.

When I was a kid and I watched Batman on TV, I never liked the Mad Hatter. After I got the DVDs in the Summer of '07, I liked him. Thought he was cute and sweet, if slightly crazy (but who doesn't love a li'l crazy).
These sketches are cute. I particularly like the sad one because the expression's adorable. ^^
