Carry on

Let me carry on.
Let me carry on this meaningless life.
Let me carry on this fake life.
Let me dream these pipe dreams.
Let me live...

I am a child of the i-generation
We have different gadgets like the PS3 and the iPhone
We live in a fabricated life
Where crackheads like Britney Spears live.
We live in a world that is dying.
We only care about idols and looks
And not about ourselves
Let us carry on.

I live in a century where movies impact us
Like, “300”.
It show us how to use Sparta in a simple sentence and how the Spartans lived.
“Brokeback Mountain” showed us how gay cowboys could handled their relationships.
And, “Pirates of the Caribbean” show us how pirates lived.
We find fictional and sometimes real stories as real life.
Let us carry on.

I live in a place that depression lives.
I wallow in angst and unhappiness.
I try to live.
Let me carry on!

A poem about my life.

It's emo, angsty, and depressing.

And it's true
