I decided to pull one of these together to start out the new year. I searched my house for all my old sketch books. A lot of my old work isn't dated, so I'm guesstimating the years.
We can learn two things from this. Practice pays off, as does actually trying to improve. We can also learn that my scanner hates colored pencil drawings with a passion. How cruel scanner!
Overall, I'm pleased with my progress. This makes me feel a lot better about my art, knowing how far I've come.

I think that most drawings done by little kids look like the ones at the top. Goodness knows that mine do- and so did my brothers' *(chuckle at underhanded sibling joke)*!
But it's good to look back once in a while, to see how we've improved. Some improve more than others, and you've gotten so good it's making me all happy inside.
