Three things I want to say right off the bat
1) I love the idea of conjoined twins (Though I hate catdog, most fucked up cartoon the late 90s ever showed)
2) I love the idea of symetry between two complete opposites (lol I thought my avatar was a big enough clue by now

)
3)
I
LOVE
CLOWNS
(lol my grandpa on my dad's side was a carnie back in the 50s when he wasn't driving a slaughter truck, I wish I got to meet him)
Honestly I have no idea why people are afraid of clowns, it's rather silly
Mmmm yes
yes it is
Anyways, I've always been a big fan of circuses and freakshows (Though mostly the French and Russian kind, LOL I WENT ALL THE WAY TO MOTHER FUCKING TORONTO CANADA TO SEE CIRQUE DU SOLIE, THEN I HAD TO WALK 9 MILES FROM MY HOTEL TO THEIR BIG BLUE ORANGE TENT, I'm just that hardcore, mass props yo)
So I thought it was finally time to make a charater that embodied my sick disires to see human deformaties
On the left is Pierrot, on the right, Harlequin (lol incase you didn't know,
most traditional clowns are french, not spanish lol ya learned something
Pierrot embodies tragety, the person who must always suffer for their audience, while Harlequin is comedy, the difference, tragety is when I stub my toe, but comedy is when I fall down a manhole and die (I will give anyone awesome points if they know who said that)
But if you think these girls are mentaly stabble, then you just fail, no question, get out, I don't want to see you again
ever
get out
loser
However I'm not going to get into specific details right now, I want to make a refernce sheet some time since I fucking love making traditional clown outfits

SO look for that in the future, I just wanted to make something big before I go back to Philly in a week
Anyways, the twins belong to me, all textures, and outside pictures used for the background belong to their original owners, lyrics in the background are from "Vesti la giubba" which is the oh so famous song from "Pagliacci" (AKA
the clown opera)
God you people need more culture, GO GET A LIFE >:U
DAMN

Clowns do kind of scare me, but I love Pierrots. :3
Weird, isn't it?
This is just great, though!
And I think that line about comedy is from the movie Better Off Dead
OrangexSodax Says:
wow you drew them so beautifully and I know that quote :/ My teacher taught me in class a few years back...the only names that come to mind are Mark Twain and Shakespeare for some reason
I was moved!
Bah! My awe has left me gibbering
I loved the outfits, the expression and the details behind it
Nothing about this is out of place...its very wonderful
Terranova Says:
I remember one of my buds saying that quote once. They said something about Mel Brooks or somebody like that. I'm not totally sure.
Amazing job, I like the conjoined twin idea!
As far as the pic goes, I love clowns.:3 They are so colorful and/or really ornate.>3< And I love the description behind the piece. The jester hat on Harlequin and the frills on Pierrot are so pretty! So is the rest of the pic, but I love those details.

I like it, although their arms and chins make them both look a bit too masculine maybe~
the designs are really nice though. I especially like the one on the left, the simple colours =
Also clowns scare the bajeesus out of me, ffff. :C
6SIC6 MAGGOT Says:
I like how one's like, mad, and the other is, "HAI GUIZ", and also the "pattern contrast".
