In due time

When one walks up to you and relays unto you news of a negative or depressing story...it is in our nature to have empathy correct? To reply with "Aw man, that's really terrible I'm sorry" Or something along those lines. All the while in the darkest crevice in the back of your labrynth-like mind your thinking "Geez, I'm glad that wasn't me." or "It's a good thing nothing like that happened/will ever happen to me." So what happens when something bad does happen to you? Do you regret thinking that about other things? Are you thinking maybe this is some form of karma..? Oh yeah, you were probably due for a bad incident anyway, but out of nowhere, you were least expecting it, it came right when...right when everything was going just fine. That's when it always comes though isn't it? Either when you're really having an amazing day, or when "things can't get any worse" yet it's always more severe when it's the first.

Yeah it sucks.
Yeah you're pissed.
You can't just 'move on' from THIS situation.

Situations like this can change you
Take a piece out of you
Make you someone different.

Change is inevitable.
