When you consider the fact you're still trying to "find your feet" when it comes to drawing, this isn't to bad. Sure it's not perfect but compared to some of the stuff I've seen you do before it's an improvement. The pencil smudges do ruin it a little but you're still learning. Next time maybe you shouldn't press so hard on the paper with the pencil and perhaps go over the art with ink after. You could then erase the pencil and be left with the ink finish.
