Jessibel

I'm rather proud of this painting. :3 It's for my grandparents as a christmas gift. The dog in the picture is their old dog, Jessibel, and she was the best dog ever. ;__; I loved her so much, but she passed away two years ago on Oct 10th I believe. :( I really miss her. She was well behaved, loving, loyal, and always wanted to be with you. Haha, when she was outside and we let her come in, she waited by the back door for us to wipe her feet off before she could walk into the house. ;_; it was cute. She also was really well behaved when they brushed her teeth. I used to take her to the park, and there would be these kid play areas with steps up to a side (they were big, short platforms, one after the other. So she could get to the slide no problem) and she would slide down after me. And if you ever laid down on the floor, she'd lay down next to you and lay her head on your chest/belly. it was really cute. She also wouldn't lick you unless you asked her. ("Give me a kiss? :3" and she'd lick your hand, ahah!)

Anyway... I really miss her, and my grandparents loved her a lot. Ahah, I'd love to keep this for myself but alas, they'd love it. I know there are a lot of issues in it, but for the most part I'm really proud cause I don't usually draw dogs. :3 I like how it came out cartoony yet kinda realistic. the shading on her white fur shows up more in person. her mouth is kinda funky. but WHATEVA.

Jessibellll. Here's a picture of her when she was over my house once, but this is when she was really old and she injured her spine, so it was really hard for her to walk. ;__; poor baby. I left out all the white hair on her face, cause I was afraid I would mess it up. she didn't have white hair all over her face when she was young, of course.
