Raziel's mind had left him...


He felt numb but somehow released.

What had awakened him from his slumber?


Who was that held him so?

Their hands were soft...they were not that of Kain's.

They felt small and weak, however, strong all the same.

He looked to see this stranger's face.

A little girl of age...

She looked vaguely familiar.

Blinded, she was, save,mute.

And....

She had...wings?

Was this nearly possible, give her age, for evolution?

Who are you, he asked, in a soft voice.

The girl did not respond.

Kain had...offspring?

This being, this child, was his...daughter?

How many ages had passed?

He had slept for so long, weakened by his state that now enveloped him.

Missed so much he did, but he was glad not to be in a constant torment...

Though life seemed a beautiful world he wished and longed for...

However, why had she placed her white hands around him?

Surely, she could not use him, no, not ever.

It had been prophesied...

But he felt warmed in her hands.

Blinded, she would never be ever to see him and his state, surely this would be a good omen.

This moment, he knew, he would protect her.

Watch closely, her chevalier.
