Ohh boy!
I’ve been working on this on and off for probably 4 months now. I congratulate myself for not having a short attention span!
Hours Total Worked on: 14
Layers: about 33
Programs Used: Open Canvas 4, Photoshop (latest version)
So, when I started this, I just enlarged a sketch that was nearly 1x2 inches into an image nearly 3000x4000 pixels. I did the background first, then the moth, all in oC4. Then, later, I took it into Photoshop on my art teacher's computer and worked in the rider, the snow, the lighting, the wind, and the snow on the mountain. So, most of it was Photoshop.
That's Kaya, on her giant riding moth. Her brother Kurt is probably not too far away, on his. They have a sort of taxi job, ferrying people from mountaintop to the base. They play a pretty important role in my story (The Fellowship Hunters).
So, yeah!
Hope you like! ;3

Amazing job! That mountain looks perfect, and the snow in the air is just enough to get the effect without being distracting. I repeat: amazing.
Powdered snow on an adorable fluffy giant moth...
I know there's a godzilla joke in there somewhere...but I'm not funny enough to come up with it...
